Griff/SMC Paints the Future with Philips Medical

BOULDER, CO (December 14, 2004) - Griff/SMC, Inc. has recently completed an integrated marketing communications campaign for the radiation oncology division of Philips Medical. The agency developed the "Artist" communications platform to present "the creative collection of integrated tools, designed to simplify patient care, from Philips."

The Artist concept was created and applied by the Agency to a variety of marketing communications materials, including pre-show direct mail, hotel door drops, an on-site video, show graphics and a variety of premium items, all designed to stimulate booth traffic and increase product demonstrations at ASTRO 2004, the largest tradeshow of the year for the company.

According to Robert Fenwick, Global Marketing Director for Philips Radiation Oncology Systems, "The Artist concept developed by Griff/SMC helped us to unify our product and service offering into one compelling message. As such, we at Philips experienced the highest traffic count and the greatest number of product demonstrations in our history at ASTRO."

"We experienced a 28 percent lead growth over 2003," stated Fenwick. "We also completed 1,363 demonstrations over the 4-day conference."
